Dr. Heidi Kopacek provides therapy services for adults.
Dr. Kopacek’s training is in mindfulness-based therapy. Mindfulness-based therapy can be helpful for managing life transitions, dealing with ongoing feelings of anxiety and depression, or simply working toward a higher sense of purpose and meaning in life.
In addition to mindfulness-based therapy, Dr. Kopacek supports a holistic approach to emotional health. She is versed in nutritional interventions for anxiety and depression, the practices of yoga and meditation, sleep hygiene, breathing techniques, and energy awareness. Further, Dr. Hanson utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques especially for patients diagnosed with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Using a holistic approach to care includes nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness as well as medication management. She also likes her patients to go for genomic testing if possible. Mark Olson, MSW, LICSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Mark provides individual therapy for adults (18+). Consideration will also be given to clients under 18 for medical trauma, concussions, or other trauma-related physical or bodily injury.
Mark uses a blend of somatic experiencing and co-regulating touch, along with cognitive and emotional support, to gently guide the client through their bodily experience. The goal is to slowly release any excess energy the body is holding in relation to a traumatic injury or event. Family and interpersonal relationships are also explored to address and repair any developmental ruptures that have occurred in the past and could be connected to the particular traumatic event.
Mark offers a holistic and somatic-centered approach to treatment by focusing on the connection between the brain and body. The primary goal for all clients is to achieve self-regulation by feeling more at ease and safe in their body. Through time, as a client continues to gradually build self-regulation, traumas and their excess emotional energy can start to become more tolerable. Clients might then begin to notice that their previous symptoms, including intense body sensations or heightened personal interactions with others, seem to be less bothersome and more manageable. New perceptions and meaning can then begin to emerge around their trauma(s) as a client builds more capacity in their body and gains greater awareness and insight into the world around them.

Sarah provides therapy services for children (7+), adolescents, and adults throughout the lifespan.
She enjoys working with those who may be experiencing low mood, anxiety, situational stress, life transitions and/or grief. She is also experienced in working with disordered eating and self esteem challenges.
Sarah utilizes an integrative art therapy approach which could include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative therapy and trauma-informed care with a strength-based perspective. Sarah believes there is no “one size fits all” to therapy so the goal is to co-create a therapeutic approach and relationship that works best for the client and their needs. Sometimes words fail to capture the essence of how one is feeling and this is where the power of art can play an integral role in healing.
Art therapy makes it possible to express what is difficult, and sometimes impossible, to communicate with words. No experience with art materials is required to try art therapy. The creative process, combined with the verbal discussion, allows space to integrate healing on a cognitive, biological, and emotional level.
Sarah has additional experience working with children, teens, and adults in an inpatient, partial hospitalization, residential setting.

Mikki has worked as a certified yoga therapist in the mental health field for 13 years at a large multilevel eating disorder treatment center where she founded The Mind Body program and the Post-Meal Mindful Movement protocol that teaches patients the skills to manage their stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma response.
A student in the Viniyoga lineage, she utilizes this ancient science of yoga to help assess a person's individual needs and offers a unique model of health as it approaches all aspects of life, body, breath, mind, behavior, and emotions rather than considering each body part or system separately.
Although all yoga practices offer physical and emotional support, yoga therapy utilizes the specific application of yogic tools; postures, breath work, chanting, mudra, and meditation practices to create the right practice for you.
Individual appointments include an information gathering session to fully discuss your needs followed by a personalized yoga practice that applies these tools to optimize your physical, mental, or emotional wellness.
Mikki also offers ongoing yoga therapy workshops that teach ways to reduce the cycle of anxiety, stress and physical pain.
Mikki is trauma-informed, respectful and open. Her practice is gender and sexuality-affirming and all body and all ability inclusive.
